what's dope about the video is not that he used the filter/effect, it's that he carried the concept to it's end. He worked in all of his signatures that if you've had the pleasure of seeing him live would recognize such as the gold megaphone, the chains, the iRobot-ish jerky dance moves, and even the texture/grainyness reminds me of the style he has in his paintings. I think i like this better than all of his other videos. i'm biased tho b/c i'm a big psychadelic head

BROKEN ROPE [ ____ TIGER TRAP______ ]
There was once a time when i was able to catch Big Pun's 'riddled two middle men from Little Italy that didnt do diddly' line on the first pass. But due to general laziness, paired w/ years of listening to familiar voice tones, predictable rhyme patterns, & cadences those skills are long gone. So until my ears regain their physical fitness my favorite tracks from Broken Rope's new tiger trap will be the slower ones. I smooshed trks #3-6 together here.
I'm not going to put any quotables here because there are so many, it would be disrespectful to the ones i would leave out. My only suggestion to BR would be to invest in whatever mic Cam'Ron uses :)

naeem oba
i clicked on this guy because his name is African, while spamming on myspace
he's not boring
which is why he has some ammo in the anti-pop-rap argument(war).
he takes Ice-T's side, as many others quietly did during that whole YouTube fiasco, and cleverly weaves the names of the most popular targets into the chorus. he made me consider putting my mic down.
he actually keeps you engaged.
he embodies the beautiful, yet bleak beats with a realistic feeling of hope.
he's current, not nostalgic.
he samples all the stuff you planned to
and does it better than you would have.
(i.e. Usual Suspects on Go Hard)
He's working on an album based on 1984, which is an idea Greazy-Duz-It (of the Shindiggaz) has been working on for the last couple months also.
